Chris Nester Sidelined for Season Saturday, July 24th , 2010 The season is ending on a bad note for Chris Nester, reliever for the Atlanta Pilots. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Nester was hurt against the Los Angeles Knights while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn labrum and will be out for at least 8 months. For the season, Nester has no saves, tossed 28.1 innings, fanned 25 batters and produced an ERA of 5.40. He has also been credited with 3 wins and no losses. |
