Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Washington Warriors and Los Angeles Knights.

Los Angeles got a terrific game from first baseman Dillon Anthony. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Washington, 6-4. Anthony was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Paul Marchman finished the game for Washington and earned his 2nd save.

Jimmy Bartholomew aided the Washington cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the second. For the game, the catcher was 1 for 2 with a walk.

"You need to show up when your number's called," said Bartholomew.

The loss puts Los Angeles at 5-3.
