Aztecas Score 3-1 Win Over Green Bay

Both offenses were relatively subdued at Braves Ballpark. Fortunately for the Mexico City Aztecas, though, Harry Pinard was able to deliver in the clutch. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once, to lead his team past the Green Bay Braves, 3-1. Nick Wilder, who is tied for 9th in the in complete games with 3, was the winner. He's now 8-7. The loser was Pedro Hernandez. The victory gives Mexico City a record of 46-36.
Pinard had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 1-2 cutter from Pedro Hernandez, he banged a 2-run home run to left-center, giving the Aztecas a 2-0 lead. It was the 10th home run of the year for Pinard.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Pinard.
