Homeyer Hits 2 home runs in Buffaloes Win
At Canadians Park, the Sherbrooke Canadians and Winnipeg Buffaloes were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Winnipeg Buffaloes grabbed a win, 6-2, over the Sherbrooke Canadians at Canadians Park. Winnipeg left fielder David Homeyer went 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice. Andy Taylor, who went 6.1 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 1 run on 8 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 4. His record now stands at 10-8.

Winnipeg took a 6-1 lead on Homeyer's 14th home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which he hit off Chris Shipman in the top of the eighth, propelled Winnipeg to the win.

"David raked," said Winnipeg manager Matt Bryant.

The second-place Buffaloes have won 4 in a row.
