Thunder Get Hard-Earned Win
Dallas got a terrific performance from pitcher Joe Levensailor, but it wasn't enough to beat the Tampa Bay Thunder. Tampa Bay won the The Thunder Bowl contest, 5-4. Levensailor threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. The win was credited to 26-year old left-handed pitcher Zeke Smothers in relief. His record improves to 6-0. Aaron Patterson took the loss. The South Division-leading Thunder have a record of 39-18.

Mike Woolridge helped out the Tampa Bay cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the center fielder was 1-4.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Woolridge.
