Chicago pitcher Jose Sierra did his part in helping his team beat the St. Louis Lions, 4-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. This loss makes it 8 in a row for St. Louis.

Ben Alley hit a 2-run home run off Kevin Williams in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Blackhawks ahead, 4-2. In addition to the homer, Alley had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.
