Diablos Win Nail-Biter in 11

The El Paso Diablos picked up a win at Inferno Field, knocking off the Los Angeles Knights, 3-2, in 11 innings. On the mound for El Paso was right-hander Alex Arias. He played a pivotal role in the triumph. El Paso reliever Keith Shull got the win, raising his record to 5-0. John Jackson was tagged with the loss. The Diablos are now 27-21.
The defining moment came in the bottom of the 11th for El Paso. That's when Ben Mullaly hit a solo home run off 32-year old right-handed pitcher John Jackson to win the game. The home crowd went wild.
"Got a lot of swings and misses today," said Arias.
