Winnipeg pitcher Andy Taylor had a large part in his team beating the Allentown Fleetwings, 8-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Taylor, now 9-6, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 8, walking 3, and allowing 2 runs. Winnipeg now has a record of 37-28 with the win.

Chris Kayser had a big bases-clearing double for the Buffaloes in the bottom of the eighth inning. With Winnipeg leading 4-2 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Joel Brewer, who is tied for 5th in the in saves with 12, and swatted a double to left. It was his 12th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Buffaloes ahead, 7-2.
