Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Fleetwings

The Allentown Fleetwings had to weather a strong performance from Hamilton pitcher Bill Kuhn before claiming a 3-2 win in 12 innings. Kuhn went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs. Sam Kenney was the winner in relief. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Jeremy Perry. Allentown is 4th in the East Division with a record of 24-30.
Allentown got a clutch hit from Chris Buckner. The left fielder launched a solo home run in the bottom of the 12th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.
"We had a hellacious effort," said Fleetwings manager Ryan Carlson. "We hung in there and hung in there."
