Tigers Win Thriller, 3-2
|
Hamilton Tigers starter David Enger turned in a sparkling performance against the Edmonton Drillers, leading his team to a 3-2 win. The 5th-place Tigers lifted their record to 23-26.
Matt Sayles was the walk-off hero for Hamilton. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Tigers first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"The effort we put into this one paid off," Sayles said.
