Allentown and Southern California duked it out and the Fleetwings came out victorious.

Behind a solid performance from designated hitter Chris Tarter, the Allentown Fleetwings defeated the Southern California Empires, 6-3. Tarter was 3-5 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Fleetwings. The winning pitcher was Mike Aloe. He's now 2-1. He went 6.1 innings, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits for the Fleetwings. Keon Miller got credit for the save for Allentown. It was his 2nd of the year.

With Allentown leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Tarter hit a sinker from Justin Picton for a 2-run double. It was his 4th double of the season and put the Fleetwings ahead, 3-0.

Tarter attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."
