Chargers Earn 7-5 Win Versus Sherbrooke
The Detroit Chargers withstood an impressive performance by Sherbrooke third baseman Chase Wells to defeat the Canadians, 7-5, at Canadians Park. Wells went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The winning pitcher was Justin Martin. He tossed 110 pitches over 8.1 innings, allowing 5 runs on 8 hits. The victory gives Detroit a record of 24-14.
