Gomez Helps Mexico City Cruise to 10-3 Win
Led by Torvald Gomez, the Mexico City Aztecas downed the Green Bay Braves, 10-3. Gomez was 2 for 2 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for the Aztecas. The win for the Aztecas raised their record to 17-13.

With Mexico City leading 4-0 in the bottom of the third, Gomez came up to bat against Green Bay pitcher Sam Hall. Gomez hit a changeup to right for a 3-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season put the Aztecas on top, 7-0.
