Rhys Fox was superb against Green Bay. The left-hander, who is tied for 3rd in the in wins with 4, had a fastball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Moose victory. The score was 1-0. Fox, now 4-3, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 2 hits, while striking out 9, walking 3, and allowing no runs. Saskatoon sits in second place in the Central Division at 16-10.

Batting in the bottom of the ninth, 33-year old right fielder Nick Maniates had a real shot to win the game. Green Bay pitcher Jay Briddell was determined not to let it happen. But with one out, Maniates hit a run-scoring single. The Moose had a walk-off triumph.

"This game was intense," Fox said, postgame.
