The Sherbrooke Canadians and Saskatoon Moose provided some drama for the home crowd.

The Sherbrooke Canadians got a superb performance from pitcher Hui He, but the Saskatoon Moose still won the game, 3-2. He threw 6.1 innings of shutout ball. At 11-6, the Moose have played well so far.

The Moose were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth inning, when 33-year old right fielder Nick Maniates landed a big blow. He turned a 0-1 fastball from Andy Groves into a 2-run single. The walk-off single sent the Moose Grounds denizens into a frenzy and sent the Moose home with a thrilling 3-2 win.

Maniates called the win "a team effort."
