In a low-scoring affair between the Hamilton Tigers and the Winnipeg Buffaloes, pitcher Curt Feehley was the difference between victory and defeat. The Hamilton left-hander earned kudos in the 3-2 Tigers win. The Tigers raised their record to 7-8.

Tom Himes had a key at-bat in the top of the 11th. With the bases empty, he hit a triple. It helped send Hamilton to the win.

"The only difference is executing pitches and not executing pitches," said Feehley. "When you don't execute, you get beat. When you execute, you usually give your team a chance to win."
