Enger, Tigers Put Clamps on Buffaloes
|
Hamilton Tigers starter David Enger turned in a top-notch performance against the Winnipeg Buffaloes at Goldeyes Park. The result was a win for the Tigers, 2-1. Hamilton has a record of 6-7.
Enger earned the win, going 7 strong innings for Hamilton. The right-hander allowed just 2 hits, while striking out 10. Winnipeg hitters had little success against him.
"When David is on, he can really move the ball around," said Hamilton manager Jason Johnson.
