Chris Tarter, who finished 4th in the in home runs with 24 last year, led Allentown to a triumph over Sherbrooke. The final score was 5-2. The first baseman went 3 for 5, falling a triple shy of the cycle. He scored 1 run and added 2 RBI. Kyle Noll, the winner, improved to 2-1. He held Sherbrooke to 2 runs on 5 hits over 5 innings, while racking up 6 strikeouts. Joel Brewer earned the save for Allentown.

Allentown took a 4-2 lead on Tarter's 2nd home run of the season. The solo home run, which he hit off Matsuyo Yoshida in the top of the eighth, propelled Allentown to the win.
