|
The timely hitting of Zach Rentz helped the Southern California Empires down the Vancouver Bruins, 5-3. Rentz went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Empires. Southern California goes to 5-5.
Rentz had an important at-bat with a runner on 1st in the bottom of the sixth, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Empires went on to win.
"I felt good up there," said Rentz. "I saw the ball well."
