Adame Swings Diablos to 11-6 Win
The El Paso Diablos defeated the Boston Shamrocks, 11-6, at Shamrock Grounds. El Paso was led by 28-year old shortstop Guillermo Adame, who went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Keith Shull, now 3-0, was credited with the win in 0.1 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 0 and walking 0. The victory gives the Diablos a record of 17-17.

El Paso used the timely hitting of Matt Houser to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Diablos on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Enjoyed this one," Houser told the El Paso Herald. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
