Brown Leads Chicago Past Boston
|
Mike Brown was outstanding against Boston. The right-hander had a cutter that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Blackhawks 4-1 win. Chicago now sports a record of 15-13.
Brown made it look easy. He scattered 3 hits over 7 innings, while racking up 11 strikeouts. The right-hander upped his season record to 1-0.
"Really good pitchers have that ability to raise their game when they need to," said Chicago manager Seth Butynski.
