Titans Lose at Home, 3-1, to Philadelphia
|
In a low-scoring contest, Philadelphia pitcher Bobby Brown was marvelous, enabling his team to nab a 3-1 win. Brown got the win, improving to 1-1. He gave up 4 hits and walked 4 over 7 innings. He allowed 1 run. Despite the win, the Keystones have a lousy 7-20 record.
The Keystones had to work out of trouble in the bottom of the ninth. The score was 3-1, Philadelphia, with no one out. Toronto, with the bases empty, was mounting a threat. Tyler Beanblossom dug in at the plate, but on a 2-2 cutter, he struck out.
