Fans watched the Boston Shamrocks and the Chicago Blackhawks fight to the finish.

In a low-scoring contest between the Boston Shamrocks and the Chicago Blackhawks, Chris Phillips was the X factor. The Boston right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. At 14-12, the Shamrocks find themselves in first place in the North Division.

Boston won the game in part because of Zachary Bailey. The third baseman ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Shamrocks ahead, 3-2. For the game, Bailey had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"We need better swings, better at-bats," said losing manager Seth Butynski.
