Barksdale drives in 3 runs to Power Knights Offense
|
Tony Barksdale helped his team muscle past the Denver Cutthroats, 7-3. In the game, the Los Angeles left fielder went 2 for 2 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Steve Estrada earned the win. Jesse Steele, who is tied for 3rd in the PBC in innings pitched with 49.2, took the loss for Denver. The Knights are now 13-12, while the Cutthroats fall to 18-7.
Los Angeles grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Barksdale hit a 3-run home run off Jesse Steele. His 2nd home run of the season put the Knights out in front, 3-0.
"I was seeing the ball well tonight," said Barksdale.
