Texans Squeeze By El Paso, 2-1
|
Dallas Texans starter Zach Hoelzer hurled his team past the El Paso Diablos, 2-1. With the win, Dallas goes to 12-11, while the Diablos fall to 12-11.
The decisive blow was delivered by Brad Woodall in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run home run off 32-year old right-handed pitcher Kevin Crawford to win the game for Dallas. The home crowd went nuts.
"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said El Paso manager Joe Peters. "The effort was great."
