Texans Rally Late to Nip Knights

The Dallas Texans had to overcome a good performance from Los Angeles pitcher Matt Ryder to claim a 3-2 win at Camelot. Ryder went 7 innings and allowed 1 run. Aaron Patterson picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 2-3. Manny Ramirez suffered the loss. With the win, the Texans have a record of 10-9.
Danny Martinez came through with a big-time hit for Dallas. The left fielder smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"We just didn't score enough runs to win," said Los Angeles manager Michael Edelman.
