Tyson K's 11 En Route to 4-1 Cutthroats Win
|
Terry Tyson, who led the PBC in innings pitched with 174.1 last year, never let the Peanuts get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his knuckleball, to pitch the Cutthroats to a win, 4-1. Luke Dickerson picked up his 5th save of the season. The Cutthroats, now 11-1, have played inspired baseball.
San Francisco could barely put a dent in Tyson. The left-hander tossed 135 pitches over 8.2 innings for the Cutthroats, allowing only 5 hits.
"I just made my pitches," said Tyson, "and the ball kept missing the bat."
