Robinson Wins R's Best Bat Trophy Thursday, October 1st , 2009 Steve Robinson made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the PBC Rookie Complex League this past month. The Tampa Bay (R) Thunder left fielder shined through the month of September and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 20-year-old hit .434 with 7 home runs, 21 RBIs and 19 runs scored. To date, Robinson has collected 79 hits for a .364 average. He has posted 12 home runs, scored 45 runs and driven in 52 runs. |
