R Star of the Week Picked Monday, August 17th , 2009 What's in a number? In baseball, just about everything. The numbers that Las Vegas (R)'s Felipe Quintana put up last week were the envy of the league, as Quintana came away with PBC Rookie Complex League Player of the Week honors. He belted out 12 hits in 23 at-bats, 4 home runs and 10 RBIs last week as he posted his .522 batting average. This year, Quintana has batted at a .366 pace with 15 hits, 4 home runs, 13 RBIs and scored 7 times. |
