Red-Hot Nelson R Player of the Week Monday, August 10th , 2009 Like a machine, Mike Nelson hit the baseball with brutal efficiency last week, gaining himself the PBC Rookie Complex League Player of the Week title for that stretch. The Boston (R) Shamrocks third baseman rapped out a .542 average with 13 hits in 24 at-bats, 5 home runs, 10 runs batted in and 10 runs scored. For the year, Nelson is batting .595 with 7 home runs. |
