Shamrocks Mike Nelson Swings Hot Bat, R Winner Monday, August 3rd , 2009 The Player of the Week has been chosen by the PBC Rookie Complex League. The award went to Mike Nelson, third baseman of the Boston (R) Shamrocks. In a sensational hitting performance, he wrecked league pitchers with a .692 average to win the honor. Nelson went 9-for-13 for the week, totaled 2 home runs and 4 RBIs and scored 8 times. |
