Houston (R)'s Ege Acclaimed Best R Hitter Saturday, August 1st , 2009 Eric Ege made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the PBC Rookie Complex League this past month. The Houston (R) Mavericks center fielder shined through the month of July and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 19-year-old hit .402 with 9 home runs, 23 RBIs and 25 runs scored. To date this year, Ege is batting .389 with 13 home runs. |
