Tatsunori Kimura Injured, Out for Season Monday, July 20th , 2009 The doctors have spoken and Tatsunori Kimura of the Denver (R) Cutthroats didn't like what he heard. The 18-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Kimura sustained his season-ending injury during the Tampa Bay (R) Thunder game yesterday at PBC Rookie Development Complex. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Denver (R) medical staff reported Kimura had a fractured elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 4-5 months. |
