Doctors in Oil City said Greg Gay might not play anymore this year. The Oilers starting pitcher suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow during a game against the St. Petersburg Pelicans and will be out for at least 7 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season.
This season, Gay shows a 10-5 record in 21 games, 133.1 innings, 187 strikeouts, and a 1.55 ERA.
