Pitcher of the Year Award Presented to Albuquerque Star Thursday, October 22nd , 2009 Jon Tetreault of the Albuquerque Coyotes impressed voters as one of the elite pitchers in the Amateur Baseball Circuit this year. He capped off a sensational 13-2 season by taking home the coveted Pitcher of the Year Award today. Making 19 starts, he tossed 132 innings, struck out 168, walked 32 and registered a 1.84 ERA. He received 18 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Jim Eklund of the Manchester Monarchs finished second in voting, while Josh DeMarse of the New Orleans Buccaneers finished third.
