David Colquhoun Injured, Out for Year
Sunday, September 13th , 2009
The doctors have spoken and David Colquhoun of the Dallas Bulls didn't like what he heard. The 24-year-old left fielder is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Colquhoun sustained his season-ending injury during the Fort Wayne Farmers game yesterday at Farmers Field. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while running the bases. Today the Dallas medical staff reported Colquhoun had a ruptured medial collateral ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 10 months.

This season, Colquhoun is swinging the bat at a .288 pace. He has hit no home runs and scored 14 times, while driving in 7. His on-base percentage is .366 and he has played in 18 games.
