Tulsa Loses Valdovinos for Year Thursday, August 20th , 2009 A blow for Pedro Valdovinos today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 8 months with a torn rotator cuff. Valdovinos suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Tulsa Twisters are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Valdovinos's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. Checking out his stats for the season, Valdovinos has racked up 1 win and 5 losses in 11 starts, posted a 6.31 ERA, and struck out 46 batters in 55.2 innings. |
