Tomohiko Morimoto Injured, Out for Year Tuesday, August 18th , 2009 The season is ending on a bad note for Tomohiko Morimoto, starting pitcher for the Arlington Stars. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Morimoto was hurt against the Fort Wayne Farmers while throwing a pitch. He suffered shoulder inflammation and will be out for at least 4 months. This season, Morimoto has gone 2-6 with an ERA of 5.94, posting 62 strikeouts in 63.2 innings. |
