Fort Wayne's Johnson Top ABC Batter in July Saturday, August 1st , 2009 Even though he is a newcomer to Amateur Baseball Circuit, Gordie Johnson put up some good numbers in July and earned the ABC Batter of the Month award. He was one of Fort Wayne's offensive leaders with a .413 average in 23 games. He also racked up 8 home runs, 27 RBIs, and 19 runs scored. Currently Johnson is batting .352 with 12 home runs, 37 RBIs and 30 runs scored. |
