Las Vegas's Brian Miller Injured Sunday, October 18th , 2009 A blow for Brian Miller today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 5-6 months with a torn labrum. Miller suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Las Vegas Rollers are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Miller's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. In 21 starts this season, Miller has picked up 10 wins while suffering 5 losses. He has pitched 145.2 innings, allowed 126 hits, struck out 137 and posted a 3.09 ERA. |
