Tigers Advance to SPBC Classic Series Friday, October 9th , 2009 It went the distance, but the Hamilton Tigers finally disposed of the Albany Senators 6-1 in the series clincher at Hamilton Park. Winning the finale gave the Tigers the series, 4-3. They will now advance to the SPBC Classic Series. The Most Valuable Player Award went to Hamilton third baseman Victor Araque. He batted .357 in the series, collecting 5 RBIs and scoring 5 runs. "Victor deserves it," said Tigers manager Jason Johnson. "He was the glue that held our club together." The Hamilton Tigers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Las Vegas Rollers - Southern California Empires series. That series is tied at 3 games apiece.
