SPBC Spotlight Shines on Rookie Star Thursday, October 1st , 2009 Brent Pierce of the Sherbrooke Canadians has been chosen the top Rookie in the Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit. In September he racked up 24 hits, 10 home runs, 17 RBIs and 14 runs scored. He hit .296 with a .360 OBP. In the 2009 season Pierce is hitting .263 with 25 home runs. |
