Arthur Gets SPBC #1 Pitcher Trophy Thursday, October 1st , 2009 The hottest hurler in the Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit last month was Steve Arthur of the Vacaville Steelheads. He caught the attention of everybody in the league with some eye-catching stats, good enough to win the SPBC Pitcher of the Month. In September, Arthur starred with an impressive 6-0 record. In 6 starts he gave up 29 base hits and struck out 33 in 41.2 innings with a 1.51 ERA. In 21 starts this year, Arthur has fashioned a 14-5 record and a 3.24 ERA. |
