Steelheads Come up Short of Playoffs Wednesday, September 30th , 2009 Vacaville Steelheads closer Phil Knobbe said it is a "bitter disappointment" for he and his teammates to miss the playoffs. The remarks came hours after the club was mathematically eliminated from 2009 postseason contention. The Steelheads also missed the playoffs last year. |
