The Math Says - Newark Out of Playoffs Tuesday, September 29th , 2009 Elijah Jackson, the manager of the Newark Eagles, said his players are "devastated" to have missed the playoffs. Today it became official -- the club has run out of games and was mathematically eliminated from qualifying. This is the 2nd time in a row that the Eagles have missed the playoffs.Their last payoff appearance was in 2007. |
