Newark Silences Calgary, 1-0 Wednesday, August 12th , 2009 David Waggoner scattered 2 hits over 9 innings, going the distance in the Newark Eagles 1-0 victory over the Calgary Caracals at Caracals Stadium. The 34-year-old Waggoner whiffed 10 and issued 4 walks. "Not perfect today, but I'll definitely take it," Waggoner said. "I made a couple mistakes but thankfully they didn't get all of them and the guys behind me cleaned things up." In 13 starts this year, Waggoner has recorded a 8-4 record and a 2.87 ERA.
