Glaser and Headd Swapped Sunday, December 20th , 2009 It likely won't turn either team into an instant contender or provide a huge franchise shakeup, but the Allentown Fleetwings and Las Vegas Rollers finalized a trade today. Allentown will send 36-year old LF Josh Glaser to the Rollers, while the Fleetwings will receive 24-year old minor league 2B Manny Gonzales, 24-year old minor league RHP Bob Mendez, and 24-year old minor league RF Ryan Headd. "We think this is a deal that will help out both teams and we're glad to get it done," Fleetwings general manager Michael Clark said. The trade is expected to be officially completed later today with the players joining their new ballclubs by the end of the day. Glaser has played in 507 games and posted a lifetime .269 average. He has 475 hits, 66 doubles, 6 triples and 79 homers. In addition he has driven in 262 runs and scored 315 times. |
