Johnson, New York City Agree to $1,100,000 Deal Monday, December 14th , 2009 The Blues pulled out all the stops today to announce the signing of starting pitcher Jim Johnson. The 34-year-old is one of the game's preeminent playmakers and has definitely proven why he was such an attractive signing. The contract is a 2-year deal worth $1,100,000. Thus far in his career, Johnson has worked 726 innings with 593 strikeouts en route to a 47-43 record. The 34-year-old also has a 4.34 ERA. |
