Diablos, Texans Make Trade Friday, November 27th , 2009 You can focus on the negatives after being traded to a new team -- finding a new place to stay, leaving teammates and friends, having to start anew -- but one player hopes to focus on the positives. "It means I'm wanted somewhere. At least one team sees potential in me." Those were the comments heard after the El Paso Diablos came to an agreement to deal $300,000 in cash to the Dallas Texans for 30-year old LF Naoto Sugahara and 31-year old CF Javier Bonola earlier today. The deal is expected to be formally announced later this evening. In his 357-game career Sugahara is batting .241 with 37 doubles, 3 triples, 91 home runs and 217 RBIs. He has stolen 2 bases and scored 164 times. |
