Daniel Presented PBC Rookie of the Year Award Friday, November 6th , 2009 It was a very productive rookie season for Washington third baseman Pat Daniel. He made the club, made the starting lineup, then in the regular season put up numbers impressive enough that the Professional Baseball Circuit presented him the league's Rookie of the Year Award for 2009. It was a season to remember for the 23-year-old Warriors newcomer. In addition to hitting .313, Daniel played in 88 games and collected 23 home runs, 67 RBIs and 60 runs scored. He received 10 first place votes out of a possible 18. Josiah Hilton of the Boston Shamrocks finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while Matt Brown of the Tampa Bay Thunder finished third with 1 first place vote.
